SATOSHI KAWAMOTO
TOKYO GROWING
Satoshi Kawamoto is a plant artist and creative director from Tokyo, Japan, currently based in Milan.
His practice explores plants beyond their decorative role, bringing them into dialogue with space, objects, and the traces of time, memory, and texture to create new landscapes and experiences.
His work extends across botanical art, fashion shows and runway presentations, brand events, exhibitions, retail and commercial spaces, as well as visual set design. Through plants, he moves fluidly between fashion, art, design, and space, creating a distinctive visual language of his own.
Having lived and worked across Tokyo, New York, and Milan, Kawamoto continues to collaborate with international brands and creatives on projects around the world.
Tokyo remains one of the fundamental points of reference in his creative practice. Its landscape—where nature and urban life, different cultures, and contrasting values coexist—continues to shape and inspire his work today.

MIDORI KAWANO
TOKYO SPECTRUM
Midori Kawano is a visual artist and art director based in Tokyo. A graduate of Tama Art University, where she studied product design, she began her independent career in visual direction and moving image, gradually expanding her practice into spatial installations.
Rooted in a deep affinity for music and an enduring fascination with the cosmos, her work explores the sensorial dimensions of light and color. She reinterprets familiar materials and phenomena, revealing unexpected ways of seeing and experiencing them. In recent years, she has worked with lenticular, light and phosphorescence to create works in which images, colors, and phenomena shift according to the viewer’s position and perspective.
She created RGB_Light, an original lighting work that casts vivid, multicolored shadows, a concept patented in both Japan and the United States. She has presented her work through solo exhibitions and international art fairs.

"TOKYO CONTINUUM"
Tokyo is a global metropolis defined by its rich layers of culture. Among its many facets—from a deep history and tradition to its international appeal—we have focused our lens on the city’s rapid, continuous evolution.
Satoshi Kawamoto began his creative journey in Tokyo before relocating to New York and Milan, observing the city's transformation from an outside perspective.
Midori Kawano, on the other hand, has long been rooted in Harajuku—the epicenter of Tokyo culture—shaping her artistic practice from within the heart of its development.
This exhibition brings together two artists with distinct approaches and viewpoints, showcasing works inspired by the ever-evolving city of Tokyo.
